Her history

A one-design trimaran

Designed by the VPLP naval architectural firm, the Diam24 is a one-design trimaran measuring 7.25 metres in length launched in 2010 and selected to be the Tour de France à la Voile boat from 2015. That same year, Spindrift joined the circuit, participating in the season’s events. Dona Bertarelli and Yann Guichard’s team promptly began their quest for accolades, taking the win in the Spi Ouest-France and going on to secure victory in the Grand Prix de l’Atlantique a few weeks later. The 26 July 2015 marked the season’s high point for the team. Following a month-long competition, it was the city of Nice which saw the efforts of Spindrift team justly rewarded by victory in the Tour de France à la Voile.
