After victories in 2010, 2014, 2016, 2019 and now 2024, this is the fifth time (in 17 participations) that the Sails of Change team has won this iconic race.
The crew of Sails of Change 8 (Yann Guichard, Noé Delpech, François Morvan, Bruno Mourniac, Adrien Mestre and Solune Robert) won after 6 hours, 22 minutes and 33 seconds of intense racing over the 66.5-mile round trip between Geneva and Le Bouveret on Lake Geneva.
After more than 6 hours of close racing, the crew of Sails of Change 10, skippered by Duncan Späth, was forced to retire for medical reasons.
