Noé started sailing in an Optimist off the island of Reunion from the age of seven, and first competed at the French Optimist National Championship at the age of 12. He moved from Reunion to Antibes in 2003 at the age of 17. Racing the 420 he was twice the Under-17 World Champion.

He started racing the 49er in 2004, setting out on a trajectory that would see him represent France at 5 Olympics, earning a 5^th place at Rio in 2016. Prior to his Olympic campaigns he achieved a Masters Degree in Management, Marketing & Communications in Marseille.
